What each one verifies
Certification means an outside body has checked how PIC works, from the material bought to the valve shipped.
ISO 9001:2015
That PIC operates a documented quality management system (Certificate No. 304920012104Q) covering the manufacture of PIC gun-metal brass valves & cocks, Pratham C.P. bath fittings & accessories, and M.I.G.I. pipe fittings — independently assessed by QRO Certification LLP, an EGAC-accredited, IAF member body.
BSB Approval
That PIC products are approved for supply to projects under the Royal Government of Bhutan, meeting the Bureau's material and performance requirements.
Trade Mark Registration
That “PIC” (Reg. No. 2070984, Class 11 — pipe fittings, bathroom fittings & accessories, valves & cocks) is a registered trademark of Pawan Industrial Corporation, protecting the brand from unauthorised use.
These are the only certifications PIC holds.
Every valve is tested before it ships
PIC valves are built to Class-1 and pass a final inspection before dispatch. The quality system behind that is what ISO 9001:2015 certifies, and what the BSB approval relies on.
How the standard is kept

Raw material check
Incoming gun metal, brass and FRP compound is verified against specification before it enters production.

Machining & assembly
Bodies are cast/forged, machined to tolerance and assembled with tested springs, seats and seals.
- 03
In-process inspection
Dimensions, thread gauging and finish are checked at each stage of the line.
- 04
Final dispatch quality check
Every valve is tested and inspected before packing and dispatch.
